UAlbany, RPI, Union, Siena, Russell Sage — every semester we haul student cars in and out of the Capital Region on our own trucks, door-to-door.
Text (315) 999-1132 Get an instant online quoteAlbany is the easiest college pickup in New York for one simple reason: it sits at the junction of I-90 and I-87, and I-90 is the spine of our business. Whether the car is going to California, Arizona, Nevada, or just across the Northeast, our trucks are already rolling past Albany, Troy, and Schenectady — so pickups here get scheduled fast and priced at our best corridor rate.
The typical jobs: a first-year's car shipped out from California for fall move-in at UAlbany or RPI; a Union or Siena senior's car sent home after graduation in the spring; or the December version — the student flies home for winter break and we haul the car so nobody has to drive the Thruway in a snowstorm. RPI's Troy hill and Union's Schenectady neighborhoods are tight for a 75-foot car-hauler, so the driver coordinates a safe nearby meeting point with you by text — usually a big lot minutes from campus.
Late August and mid-May are the crunch weeks. Text us your dates a week or two ahead and we'll build the pickup around your move-in or move-out day.
Home from Albany, Troy, or Schenectady: a sedan starts at $1,499 door-to-door, even cross-country to California. To school from California, Arizona, or Nevada: $2,000. SUVs add $200, pickup trucks add $600. A $100 deposit holds your spot and applies to the total; the balance is due on delivery by Zelle, cash, or Venmo — after you inspect the car. Full pricing here.
Talk to the carrier directly — no broker, no runaround.

Which Capital Region schools do you cover? All of them — UAlbany, RPI in Troy, Union College in Schenectady, Siena in Loudonville, Russell Sage, and everything in between. It is all the same pickup zone for our trucks.
Do you pick up right at the dorm?As close as we safely can. A car-hauler is big, so the driver parks somewhere safe nearby and takes an Uber over to meet you — or, if you would rather we not drive your car at all, you can Uber out to the truck. Whatever you prefer.
How long does it take?Coast-to-coast averages about 4 days once the car is picked up — the average across our 25,000+ transports. Closer runs are faster.
How do the deposit and payment work?A $100 deposit holds your spot and applies to the total — it is not an extra fee. The balance is due on delivery by Zelle, cash, or Venmo, after you inspect the car.
